Our vision for reconciliation at Lane Cove Public School is to provide vast and varied opportunities to increase respect and strengthen relationships between the school community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We strive for these values to be deeply embedded in our teaching and learning practices across all curriculum areas, through rich and continuing partnerships with local Aboriginal families, communities, local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and the City Country Alliance (CCA).
We continue to provide an inclusive and supportive environment that demonstrates a shared and active respect of the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories and continuing contributions, through the provision of an environment which is conducive to the development and improvement of student engagement and equal and equitable outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Education and social awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures for all stakeholders is reinforced through our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence.
