VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Choklits Surrey Hills, our vision for reconciliation is to create a learning community where every child, family, and educator feels a deep sense of belonging, respect, and connection. We are committed to walking together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the spirit of learning, understanding, and unity.

We acknowledge that reconciliation is not a destination but an ongoing journey of reflection, action, and relationship building. Through our curriculum, daily practices, and community engagement, we seek to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, histories, and ways of knowing into all aspects of our educational environment.

We honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn and play, and we are dedicated to ensuring that children develop a genuine respect for Country, culture, and community. By listening deeply to, learning continuously with, and acting respectfully to, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we strive to nurture a generation of children who value inclusion, celebrate diversity, and contribute to a reconciled and shared future for all Australians.
