VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Rise Early Learning Camperdown, we are committed to fostering an inclusive community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are not only acknowledged but actively celebrated, respected, and included into our daily practices and programs. We recognise our responsibility to cultivate a deep understanding of First Nations peoples’ perspectives within our curriculum. Our commitment extends to educating children about truth-telling and the diverse, shared histories of our nation. Understanding the significance of establishing trust with First Nations communities, we actively seek opportunities to respectfully engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge holders.  We are dedicated to continuously expanding our knowledge and understanding of  local First Nations community, The Gadigal People and the Land on which we operate. This ongoing pursuit of knowledge enables us to authentically embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories, and knowledge into every aspect of our learning environment and experiences. Our goal is for our children, learning community and families to emerge as leaders in Australia's ongoing reconciliation journey. Through our commitment and actions, we aspire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of reconciliation in our nation.
