At Community Kids Innisfail, our vision is to foster an early learning environment where the cultures, histories, and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are genuinely respected, acknowledged, and engaged with from the very beginning of a childs journey. We are dedicated to nurturing young childrens understanding, respect, and appreciation for First Nations peoples cultures through inclusive and meaningful experiences that reflect the diversity of our shared histories. By encouraging curiosity, empathy, and connection in the early years, we aim to help raise a generation that values reconciliation, appreciates the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and works toward a more united, equal and equitable Australia. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original storytellers, teachers, and knowledge holders of this Land. We honour their continuing contributions and take pride in creating a welcoming and culturally safe space for First Nations children, families, and team members within our community. Our vision for reconciliation is a thriving, inclusive Australiaone where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are deeply respected and woven into the fabric of everyday life. We imagine a future where every child and family feels empowered, heard, and connected on our shared journey toward truth, respect, and healing. Â
