Koonawarra Community Preschool's vision for reconciliation is for our staff, children and community to hold a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, acknowledge histories, and engage in respectful truth telling and truth listening. We will recognise, celebrate, and embrace the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, within our local community, as well as across the Nation, and will always value the oldest continuing culture in the world as we strive for equity for all people to live together in a harmonious, united, and reconciled Australia. Koonawarra Community Preschool is an inclusive service that appreciates and respects all groups and cultures and incorporates learning and experiences for children to grow in their knowledge of diversity.
