Kids Cave Early Education has embarked on a journey of reconciliation where we collectively seek a future of equality, equity, friendship and unity for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. We envision a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively acknowledged as the First Nations people of Australia and the Traditional Owners of the Land where their histories and cultures are respected. We want to create a community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are highly valued and embedded within our philosophy, programs, and practices. Kids Cave Early Education strives to build on our inclusive community where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and staff feel a strong sense of belonging within an environment of trust, respect, and care. It is our goal to go above and beyond to ensure that our service is a space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children and families feel safe, accepted, and valued. We will work hard to be a part of the movement towards a reconciled Australia. We want to have a stonger focus on supporting or team of educators in building the skills, knowledge and confidence to implement all aspects of our RAP authentically in their teaching practices and learning environments.
