VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Thrive Early Learning Centres (ELC) Ermington acknowledges and shows respect to the Wallumattagal people of the Dhurug Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our service is situated. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision for reconciliation is to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are recognised and valued as the First Nations Peoples of Australia. We are committed to providing all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people equal and equitable opportunities and treating them respectfully. Thrive ELC aims to create genuine relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to enhance our educators' knowledge and understanding of customs and traditions. We also strive to ensure our service is respectful and considerate in all aspects of our operations. Our approach to reconciliation involves valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's contributions to our country, sharing their histories and cultures, and promoting social justice to advocate for equality. We believe that through collaborative partnerships with the community and educating our children, we can achieve unity for all Australians.
