At McAuley Colleges, our vision for reconciliation is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-indigenous peoples  are united and the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures is valued as a source of strength. We respectfully stand on Mununjali people Country, the Traditional Custodians of the Lands. We recognise and value their wisdom and acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on Country. Our journey is built upon the foundations of unity, acceptance, and mutual respect, creating a safe and equitable environment where every individual is empowered to Believe, Learn, and Serve, supporting a reconciled and flourishing community.    In alignment with the values of Catherine McAuley and the respect for the Mununjali community, we prioritise justice, faith, love, and wisdom in our reconciliation journey. Through this living Mercy, we promote respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, ensuring every voice is heard, ultimately championing equal and equitable opportunities and a fair go for all. We honour the Mununjali peoples' true histories and the resilience of First Nations people across this land we now call Australia. We honour and continue a journey grounded in Truth-telling. Our path to reconciliation involves ongoing learning guided by reflection, nurturing a culturally responsive learning environment promoting empathy and understanding.    We accept the call to put on our boots, like the Sisters of Mercy, and walk alongside the Mununjali People, acknowledging their resilience and ongoing cultural contributions, to foster reconciliation. We recognise the strength of the First Peoples of Australia who never ceded sovereignty of this Land and who continue to uphold their languages and cultures. We are committed to acknowledging past wrongs and making amends through respectful action, story-telling, and strengthening relationships.        Â
