Our Vision at Busy Bees Moreton Bay is for reconciliation that embraces the unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, and national culture that represents equality and equity, historical acceptance of our shared history and removal of negative race relations. We strive to educate ourselves and teach our children to help create a more united and compassionate Australia. Through working together and including children from a young age, we can collectively build our understanding for a better future based on a stronger relationship between all Australians. As an organisation we are committed to raising awareness about reconciliation, demonstrating this commitment and raising the profile of reconciliation in our community. Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We are dedicated to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, perspectives, and histories into our daily learning and curriculum. We aim to create a culturally rich and inclusive environment where all children develop respect, understanding, and appreciation for First Nations cultures. Through meaningful engagement with local Indigenous communities and the integration of cultural knowledge into our practices, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and connection to Country for all children, families, and staff.
