Our vision for reconciliation is to embrace unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians. We are committed to creating an environment where every young person can thrive in a service that respects, celebrates, and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ways of knowing, being, and doing.  We acknowledge and honour all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are part of our service and the Lands on which we live, learn, and play. We aim to walk alongside  local communities to ensure equal and equitable educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, while sharing our learnings from the worlds oldest living cultures.  At St Francis Xavier OSHC, we strive to be culturally responsive and deeply respectful in all we do. As educators, we commit to creating opportunities to listen, learn, and work together with  local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.  In the context of our Out of School Hours Care service, this vision represents a shared journey of discovery, inclusion, and respect. We are dedicated to providing a culturally safe and welcoming space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and perspectives are acknowledged, celebrated, and embedded in our everyday practice.     Â
