Our vision is for reconciliation is for all First Nations Peoples of Australia and non-Indigenous people to work together with meaningful understanding of the wisdom and knowledges of the Traditional Custodians of this Land.
We are committed reconciliation and will continue to build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that are built on trust and respect, and free of racism. We will continue to foster partnerships and collaborate with First Nations families and learn from their knowledges, to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our service and to creating culturally safe spaces.
We believe that families and the community are valued partners in the development of their children and in the decision making and running of our preschool. We are committed to building meaningful relationships and liaising with outside agencies to best support the needs of children and ensure that they understand the histories of First Nations peoples of Australia. We are dedicated to ensuring equal and equitable educational outcomes for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.
We are respectful of, and embrace, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and stories. As a team, we are committed to continuous improvement and engaging with professional learning and development as we work together to ensure best practice whilst maintaining a strong, consistent, positive team environment that advocates and promotes reconciliation. We believe in providing an intercultural space for everyone to feel a sense of belonging and respect.
