VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to foster a culturally safe and respectful environment that upholds justice, equality, and equity for children, educators, families, and the broader community. We are dedicated to cultivating an educational setting where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures, perspectives, and histories are acknowledged, valued, and respected by both educators, families and children.

We are committed to creating an inclusive space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people feel a sense of belonging. Our educators are supported in deepening their understanding of First Nations cultures and perspectives, ensuring they share this knowledge with children in meaningful ways that challenge discrimination and contribute to a reconciled future.

Recognising that reconciliation is an ongoing journey, we actively work to bridge the gap of equity and eqaulity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people through genuine allyship. By engaging and educating families about the significance of reconciliation, we aim to build a united community that embraces inclusivity, equality, equity, and mutual respect.
