VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Narnia Early Learning Centre, we believe that all people are a unique part of God's creation and equal before him. We nurture a culture of belonging and provide a culturally safe environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous children and adults can flourish and be offered equal and equitable opportunities.

We respect the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which our centre stands and continue to seek understanding of the true histories of Australia through active listening and learning as we journey together.

We choose compassion and curiosity and focus on the strengths and diversities of First Nations peoples, cultures and value systems to strengthen connections and be a catalyst for change.

We work towards a future of unity, equal and equitable opportunities and respect for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through inspiration and wisdom from the bible on how to relate to all people:  Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind (1 Peter 3:8) and "Through young eyes, together, we all stand as one to learn and grow", - Rowanne Jeffries, proud woman of the Wiradjuri Nation.

Therefore, at Narnia Early Learning, as we move into the future, and ensure that our Reconciliation Action Plan is ongoing, valued, embraced and implemented by our community in accordance with our vision for reconciliation.
