VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respectfully recognised as the First Peoples and Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, and grow. We are committed to fostering an early learning environment where all children, families, and educators deepen their understanding and appreciation of the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We honour the knowledge, resilience, and ongoing cultural practices that have sustained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities for over 65,000 years. We are guided by the voices of Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the importance of Country in nurturing identity, wellbeing, and learning.

Through culturally responsive practice, meaningful relationships, and continuous reflection, we aim to create a learning community that values truth-telling, equity, and unity. We believe that embedding reconciliation in early childhood education lays a strong foundation for respectful, inclusive, and just futures for all children.
