Kids Patrol Oakey Academy

Kids Patrol Oakey's vision for reconciliation involves acknowledging and respecting the unique cultural heritages and perspectives of the First Peoples of Australia. We will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our Academy and curriculum, building meaningful relationships with the local First Nations community and making authentic opportunities for Elders and community members to share their perspectives with children and staff.   

By centering First Nations voices and experiences, Kids Patrol Oakey can play a vital role in promoting reconciliation and fostering a sense of belonging and pride for all students.  

Kids patrol Oakey's vision of reconciliation aims to integrate First Nations Peoples perspectives into early childhood education, fostering understanding, respect, and collaboration between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous communities. It involves creating inclusive and culturally sensitive childcare environments that support First Nation children's holistic development while promoting reconciliation and healing from historical injustices.
