Community Kids Victoria Point

At Community Kids Victoria Point, we envision a future where all children grow up in a community that acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. As an early learning centre located on the unceded Lands of the Quandamooka People, we are committed to walking together with First Nations peoples in the spirit of reconciliation, respect and truth-telling.

We acknowledge the Quandamooka People as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we play, learn and grow. We recognise their enduring connections to Country, culture, Language and community, and we pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present. We believe that reconciliation begins in early childhood through inclusive practices, everyday learning and authentic relationships, and educators striving to nurture generations of children who grow up with understanding of, and respect for, in the rich cultural heritages of the Lands they call home.

Our centre is dedicated to creating a culturally safe and welcoming space for all families. We are committed to listening, learning and working together with the wider community as we continue our journey toward meaningful and lasting reconciliation.
