At Only About Children Fairlight 2, our vision for reconciliation is of a nation of unity. Strengthened by respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people stemming from the elimination of all racism. We hope for an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are respected as the First people of Australia  and  they are respected for the wisdom they hold and share. A reconciled Australia would be an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are fully valued and social inequities and inequalities are eliminated. Within our centre, our vision is that all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultural identities are respected and recognised. Guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework; Being, Belonging and Becoming, we are committed to ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children and families experience a culturally responsive environment  Our vision is that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are deeply and respectfully embedded in our environment, curriculum and daily routines and that the unique connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to the Land on which we play and learn is acknowledged and respected.
