Our vision for reconciliation acknowledges that Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the First Peoples of Australia. We also need to recognise, as a country, not only the past, but ongoing injustices that have occurred within this country that we call 'home.' There is a plethora of significant events that have occurred in Australia that have driven us towards this important journey of reconciliation. A reconciled Australia is that of a country who can recognise the true histories and injustices that were thrust upon First Nations Peoples. It is our job to role model and educate new and emerging generations of what a reconciled, united, and equal Australia can be.  At Tarragindi War Memorial Kindergarten, we plan and implement child appropriate activities, experiences and resources that share and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, perspectives and histories respectfully. Our activities and experiences are planned for  children, families, educators and community to build a sense of respect, recognition and care towards the land, sea, skies, and one another whilst learning about First Nations Peoples and cultures. Our vision is to educate and support the growth of young Australians throughout their learning journey to respect, acknowledge, and celebrate Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in Australia.      Â
