Reconciliation is an ongoing journey that Rise and Shine is continuing our commitment to. Our vision for reconciliation is based on respect for the Bidjigal people, the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and through building and maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We commit our centre to engaging staff, children, families and the wider community to recognising and valuing the histories, cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision for reconciliation is focused on engaging all children, staff and all members of the community with the importance of reconciliation, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.
