St Luke's Pre-School (Dapto)

 St Luke's Preschool strives for a future where the nation acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First People of Australia. We continue to deepen our knowledge and understanding of  First Nations peoples rich and diverse cultures, histories and perspectives.      Our vision for reconciliation includes the connections we have created and relationships built with local Elders and First Nations community, valuing their experiences, cultures and knowledge. We will continue to learn, understand and grow as a team about how to respectfully embed First Nation peoples perspectives into our current practices through intentional learning opportunities where children, educators and families are able to learn more about the histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.      We will continue to be proactive in establishing respectful, positive and reciprocal relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. Throughout the whole Preschool we will nurture and value these relationships and work towards a respectful future where all people have equal and equitable opportunities. We acknowledge and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, perspectives and cultures as part of our shared national identity.
