At Our Story House Point Cook, our vision for reconciliation continues to focus on fostering a learning environment grounded in equity, equality, dignity, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Developed in collaboration with our passionate team of educators, this years vision strengthens our commitment to cultural responsiveness through ongoing professional development, deeper engagement with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and meaningful participation of all children in our reconciliation journey.
We remain dedicated to embedding a genuine appreciation of the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across all levels of our servicechildren, educators, families, and the broader community.
Through the continued implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families feel a strong sense of belonging and respect within our service. We are committed to building and sustaining respectful relationships and becoming a place that reflects true inclusivity.
With guidance from our RAP, we will continue to integrate relevant resources and experiences that promote cross-cultural understanding. By upholding the five dimensions of reconciliationrace relations, equality and equity, institutional integrity, unity, and historical acceptancewe strive to inspire unity, respect, and shared responsibility across all our early learning programs and community connections.
