VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Busy Bees Narre Warren South, we value the diversity of families, staff, and community that attend our centre and the diversity that exists within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

We continue to build meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and non-Indigenous people, coming together with the common goal of moving forward as an equal and equitable society.

We recognise and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we teach and learn.

We desire to provide an early learning setting that is culturally safe for all who enter our premises, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, children, families and the wider community.

We aim to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and being through our environment, and we are committed to learning about the significance of holistic practices.

We will provide professional development opportunities for staff. We will remain open-minded, ever learning and always researching as a team of educators as well as with our children and families.
