KDK Kids First’s vision for reconciliation is a shared understanding of, and respect for, the cultures, traditions and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the wisdom, knowledges, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We aim to strengthen respectful relationships within the service and with the First Nations Community. We acknowledge the ongoing impacts on First Australians since colonisation, working together to create awareness within our service and community through reconciliation initiatives.
We aim to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our program and practices.
