Our vision for reconciliation at Smithfield Montessori Academy is to continue to enrich, enlighten and to further educate all educators, families and children within the centre about Australias First Nations peoples, histories and cultures. Â Â We are committed to ensuring that educators, families and children will take this opportunity to develop a strong sense of understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, histories and contributions within our education programs. We actively value diversity within our service, including the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identities, experiences and perspectives. Â Â For this reason, we will continue to provide and plan experiences that broaden and deepen childrens, families and educators perspectives and encourage them to participate, whenever possible, in connecting the home, the centre and the community on our reconciliation journey.Â
