Our vision for reconciliation is to serve our community by teaching children, educators and families about the important place of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australian society and the importance of fostering equality and equity.     We acknowledge the colonial histories of Australia and the impacts that this continues to have on the First  Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge that we are unable to change the past, but we will aim to strengthen the future, by respectfully sharing Australia’s true histories and acknowledging the wrongs. Through teaching these truths, we will acknowledge and celebrate the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who have continued to live on and look after Country.     We will deepen our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and experiences and will respectfully embed First Nations Peoples perspectives throughout our service. We will build meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and strive to work collaboratively to ensure their views are represented in the work that we do at the service.
