VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Australind our centre philosophy has a direct link with our vision for Reconciliation is that we all walk together on a journey of learning about the First Peoples of Australia's histories, cultures and perspectives.

We acknowledge the local Noongar Boodja from Wardandi Land here in Australind, Western Australia and value First Nations Poples and respect their ongoing Custodianship to the cultural, spiritual, economical and historical fabric of Australia.

We envision a future where every child grows up in an environment that honours the rich cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Through meaningful relationships, shared learning, and respectful practices, we are committed to fostering a culture of unity, understanding, and reconciliation. We aim to nurture children's sense of belonging and responsibility to walk together with First Nations Poples toward a more inclusive future.

We want to acknowledge First Nations Peoples’ cultures and honour their ongoing connections to the Land by sharing stories of their rich history, incorporation of the Noongar language, and perspectives.

We wish to involve our families and community members with our RAP progress and be able to share a sense of achievement within our goals.
