VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Early Learning Ingle Farm, we continue to acknowledge and honour the perspectives, histories, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we work and learn and we proudly stand with the Kaurna people, respecting their deep connections to Country, Culture, Community and Kin.   Our commitment to reconciliation has strengthened through meaningful action, reflection, collaboration and growth. We will continue to work to create engaging learning and play environments that respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, ensuring that children experience culturally rich and inclusive spaces every day. Our service will continue supporting children, educators and families to continue deepening a sense of respect, belonging and awareness of Kaurna Country.    Our vision for reconciliation is to remain a service where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community members feel culturally safe, respected, valued and represented. We strive to nurture a learning environment where children's identities are affirmed, where cultural knowledge is honoured and where reconciliation is lived through daily practice, meaningful relationships and ongoing learning. We are striving for a future where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are valued and their knowledge, skills and perspectives are included in all aspects of our curriculum.
