We at Enhance Family Day Care are committed to sharing a vision for reconciliation that is about coming together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for inclusion, peace, understanding and showing respect. Cultural diversity will be acknowledged throughout our early learning community, through respectfully sharing learnings about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples- as theFirst Peoples of Australia. We will – respectfully embed their perspectives into our daily practices and core values.  

True reconciliation, respect, understanding and acceptance will benefit all when we are actively and holistically committed to our reconciliation process.  In practice, our vision is inclusive of all, and benefits all people and the environment alike, leading to a more empathetic and compassionate world.  We recognise that unless we are committed to reconciliation through a practical action plan, the small and significant changes necessary to shift from positions of racism, ignorance, regret and tokenism will not be achieved.  

We believe that our Reconciliation Action Plan provides practical strategies for building and renewing deeper partnerships and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations, families and individuals so that we continue to learn from each other as we work to build a more equal, equitable and socially just nation.
