Goodstart Kanimbla

Our vision for reconciliation is for all children, families, and educators to hold a strong understanding of, and respect for, the diverse cultures and identities of the First Peoples of Australia, and to actively acknowledge and respect the histories, traditions, and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  We acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia, and we are committed to championing quality outcomes in Early Childhood Education and Care to help influence and guide current and future generations towards reconciliation through respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, experiences, and contributions in our service practices. We will continue deepening our understanding of, and relationships with, local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and ways of knowing and learning. We will take a whole-service approach to reflect and extend on the knowledge and understanding of all educators, children and families.    Goodstart Kanimbla will continue to provide a welcoming, nurturing, supportive and diverse environment for all that visit or attend our service, striving for a sense of belonging within our community.
