Our vision at Goodstart Boonah is for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families to have equal and equitable opportunities and outcomes in Australia and that through reconciliation, we can close the gap for health, wellbeing and social outcomes. This includes but is not limited to being able to access high quality early childhood and education and care. We are reaching out to local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations to begin building respectful relationships between our service and the local First Nations community as we continue our reconciliation journey Each child is welcomed and has a sense of belonging within our centre community and First Nations families feel safe and secure at our service. We endevour to strengthen and provide meaningful opportunities to deepen the knowledge of our educators to provide a setting that includes and embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and lore.
