At Albert Waterways Childrens Centre, we acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Custodians of the Lands now called Australia. We pay our deepest respects to the Bunjalung people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our centre is located, and to all Elders past and present. We recognise their enduring connections to Country, culture, and community.

Our team of educators values the diverse histories, perspectives, and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and we aim to reflect this respectfully in our daily practices, learning environments, and relationships.
