Our vision for reconciliation is to commit to deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. Carey Lane Early Learning Centre will learn about and share our learning of Koomberri Peoples culture and history within our daily routines. As we continue deepening our connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and working together with children, staff and the wider community we will broaden understanding of  First Nation Peoples.  Here at Carey Lane ELC we  guide children, families and educators to learn and grow their understanding the diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures and building and maintaining strong and respectful  relationships with  First Nations Peoples. Carey Lane is committed to ongoing learning and building together a culturally safe and secure  environment for all people, promoting a strong sense of belonging to our centre community.  Our Reconciliation Action Plan will be an ongoing learning journey,  broadening and strengthening  our relationships with the Komonberri people, respectfully embedding First Nations perspectives and voices within the centre. We are committed to sharing our learning with children and families and the wider community. Â
