Goodstart Early Learning Browns Plains- Wembley Road Centre acknowledges the Yugambeh people as the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we live and learn each day. We recognise the Traditional Owners continuing connection to the lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.

We are committed to respectfully teaching the children that attend our centre about the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories, and about the truths of Australias shared histories since colonisation. We continue to build and maintain relationships with Elders and community members and strive to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures as we foster an inclusive environment for all children.

Reconciliation is about starting today to create a future where we are respectful and proud of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures. As a community, we take the journey towards reconciliation together with children, educators and families. We build relationships, nurture respect and continue to create opportunities to learn from, and work together with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
