Algester World of Learning recognises reconciliation as building strong, positive and respectful connections between non-Indigenous people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise, acknowledge and value the cultural histories, heritages, traditions and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â
Our vision for reconciliation is to provide a culturally safe, supportive and inclusive environment for First Nations and non-Indigenous team, children, families, and community members to come together and unite to make a meaningful positive change towards reconciliation in our local community and beyond. Â
We will seek to engage and promote First Nations people in our local community; and to also participate in learning experiences to further develop our centres cultural responsiveness. Â
