Mitchelton Pre-Schooling Centre's vision is to continually move forward in our efforts to recognise, value and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We respect and acknowledge the First Nations Peoples of Australia's cultures, histories and connections to Country.
We commit to respectfully engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community to develop an understanding of First Nations Peoples ways of knowing and being and to help provide a deeper understanding for everyone who attends our Centre. We believe that our lands and waterways have and always will be Aboriginal Land, and we place importance on continuing this message to the children and families in our Centre.
