It is our vsion for reconciliation that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures, histories and perspectives are respectfully integrated across our service through our program and practice. We will continue to create and maintain a culturally responsive learning environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders children, families with opportunities for non-indigenous children, families and educators to develop understanding and respect.
We will continue to strive to raise awareness of First Nations current affairs and cultures through purposefully planning from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples’ perspectives and work towards a dual curriculum in the near future. It is our pledge that we will always look to learn and understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships with and actively listening to the voices and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders community members in shaping and enacting Goodstart Montrose's vision for reconciliation.
