Our vision for reconciliation at South Morang Preschool: Reid Street is to continue to grow in our confidence in how we respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, cultures, and histories within our daily practices and program. Â We commit to continuing to develop positive two-way relationships built on trust and respect between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and all other Australians. Â We acknowledge and recognise that our service operates on Wurrundjeri Land therefore, we will continue to engage with the local Wurrundjeri Elders and other community members to create respect, understanding and unity. Through this we aim to close the educational gap within our local community and creating an equal and equitable environment that supports opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community members to have strong relationships with everyone in and across our learning community
