We commit to working respectfully to honour and understand their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this Country. We are dedicated to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively recognised for being the First Peoples of Australia. We are committed to educating children, educators and families as we learn, embedding an awareness and respect for First Nations cultures in our program, promoting an understanding of diversity and inclusiveness. We celebrate the fact that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are  the oldest, continuous living cultures on the planet.  We acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonisation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the strength and resilience of First Nation peoples and cultures. We acknowledge the true histories of Australia  and see reconciliation as moving forward with respectful action towards equality and equity. We commit to making progressive and lasting change in the best interest of all the children and their families in the service and the wellbeing of our wider community. Â
