Reconciliation at Goodstart Early Learning Woodend is how we reconcile with, recognise, and respect First Nations peoples, how we make amends and celebrate the First Nations peoples as the First Owners of the Land and acknowledge the Land on which we learn, play and work on. Therefore, our continual vision is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into all rooms and environments to provide continual learning of the cultures and heritages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people.
As a service and a community our goal and vision are to continue respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives within a multitude of play spaces to ensure it is embedded across all rooms and environments in our service. We will be getting out to community events to allow us to meet and get to know Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members
