VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our Reconciliation Action Plan incorporates all the stakeholders at Clarendon Children's Centre, encouraging the exploration and rising to the challenge of reconciliation. We commit a united effort, actively working towards raising generations that strongly believe in reconciliation and respect for the diversity which contributes to the richness of our society.

We will use an open mind and holistic approach to create, enhance and welcome respectful, sustainable opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider communities. Each educator will work together using their individual strengths, capacities and points of connection to bring about change and improve outcomes for all children. Educators will work towards educating all children and embedding meaningful content in their programs. The RAP will continue to work towards developing our understanding of Boonwurrung people, their ways of being, belonging and becoming, the ongoing impacts of colonisation, as well as the strength and resilience of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in face discrimination.

Reconciliation is a continued journey of learning and having our RAP will helps us stay focused and committed to achieve our vision through our pedagogy and practice.
