VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Point Cook Shaftsbury Boulevard, we envision an inclusive and culturally rich learning environment that honours and respects the unique cultures, histories, and rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We are proud to be situated on the Lands of the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation. As a community, we come together to stand against racism, foster a culture of respect, and create a safe space where every child, family, and educator feels valued and heard. We strive to walk alongside First Nations peoples as we learn together through connection to Bunurong Land, waterways, and sky.

Our centre is deeply committed to reconciliation. We embrace unity by acknowledging the truth of our shared history, actively promoting equity and inclusion, and working to dismantle discrimination in all its forms.

We believe reconciliation is grounded in relationships, trust, active listening, and meaningful partnerships. Through ongoing reflection and action, we aim to strengthen our bonds with the Bunurong people and the wider community for the benefit of all Australians, now and into the future.
