Our vision for reconciliation is to honour and celebrate the cultures, histories, and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to respectfully share this knowledge with our educators, children, and families.
We strive to create a culturally safe and welcoming environment where children, families, and the wider community can feel valued, supported, and included. Through meaningful engagement and collaboration, we aim to foster growth, understanding, healing, equality, and equity.
Our service is committed to an ongoing journey of reconciliation. We are proud of the progress we have made and reaffirm our dedication each year to deepening our collective effortsboth as a service and as individuals.
This journey has included a strong focus on building cultural awareness and nurturing respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations. Our goal is to thoughtfully and respectfully integrate these learnings into our kindergarten programs in diverse and meaningful ways, and to share this journey with children, families, and the broader community.
We are dedicated to advocating for, promoting, and embracing the knowledge, experiences, histories, and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we continue to embed these into our pedagogy.
