VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Adventurers, reconciliation is fundamental to our ethos, fostering a community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and all people, feel valued and included. Our vision for reconciliation, rooted in our philosophy and values, emphasises engagement, respect, and continuous learning.

We envision a future where reconciliation permeates every aspect of our organisation, honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and integrating their perspectives into our learning environment. Education plays a pivotal role in our reconciliation journey, as we strive to create inclusive spaces that embrace First Nations knowledges and heritages.

We reflect on the importance of listening, learning, and building meaningful relationships with First Nations people. We are committed to embedding reconciliation in our daily practice and ensuring children in our care grow up with a strong understanding and appreciation of the richness and strength of the worlds oldest continuous cultures.

We understand that reconciliation is an ongoing process, requiring humility, empathy, and dedication to equity, equality and justice. Together, we strive to make reconciliation a lived reality, enriching the lives of all at Adventurers.
