We at Seaholme Kindergarten are committed to building and maintaining relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the local community. We continue to enhance and respectfully incorporate the true histories of Australia and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into children's learning experiences. We continue to build on our knowledges to promote cultural safety and respect in our classrooms and ensure our learning community is actively engaged in supporting positive relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.  Â
. We aspire for children to build respectful and reciprocal relationships with one another that are based on trust and respect as they become effective communicators committed to two-way communication in cross-cultural interactions. Â
We work to create an atmosphere of safety and trust, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples can develop respectful relationships that will power our reconciliation journey.  Â
We aim to ensure that our learning service is inclusive and is welcoming to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.Â
