At Little Emu Academy, our vision for reconciliation is a community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and Elders feel truly welcome, respected, and proudand where every child learns with and about the worlds oldest living cultures. We actively consider cultural safety in all decisions and daily practice, listening to community guidance, honouring local protocols and Country, embedding First Nations perspectives across play and curriculum (not just on special days), and building staff capability to work in culturally responsive, anti-racist ways. We commit to genuine partnership, shared decision-making, and transparent action so our service remains a safe, inclusive place where identity is affirmed and belonging is real.
