At Cobblers Hill CPS, our vision for reconciliation is built on unity and respect between our preschool and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We continue to educate children, educators and families about the past, present, and future while fostering a sense of belonging and identity in our Preschool.
We are committed to providing learning experiences that deepen educators’ and children’s understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and heritages. By embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our preschool culture, curriculum, and daily practices, we strive to build meaningful connections with the First Peoples of Australia, both within our centre and the wider community.
We value respectful relationships with the Dharawal people, which are reflected throughout our routines and educational approach. Through this, we strive to provide an inclusive, culturally aware environment where reconciliation and understanding flourish. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land and are committed to promoting equity and fairness for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, working together toward a reconciled future.
