At Koala Child Care centre, we pay our deepest respect to the Gweagal people the Traditional Custodians of Dharawal Land. W recognise the importance of ensuring our educational program provides opportunities for children, educators and families to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and perspectives.  We are committed to building stronger connections and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as we continue to develop our centres cultural responsiveness and understanding. We endeavor to continue to work together towards a more equal and equitable community. As we go on our journey of reconciliation, we will actively collaborate and consult with Dharawal Elders and community members, immersing our children with the knowledge, stories of the Land, language, wisdom and the truth-telling of First Nations people. The Land on which we live, work, play and learn.
