At Colour My World Children's Centre, we envision a reconciled future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' histories, cultures, perspectives and rights are respectfully acknowledged. Where every element is celebrated and respectfully embedded into our daily practices, curriculum, and relationships with the local First Nations community, children, families and the wider community. Â
Our aim at Colour My World is to actively promote reconciliation within our service and throughout the broader community and ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and all children, have equal and equitable opportunities. We believe that through education, collaboration and our daily practices, we can cultivate a respectful understanding of Australian History which is taught in an age-appropriate manner. Â
Colour My World is a place where every child, regardless of race or cultural background, is honoured, embraced and treated with respect to achieve a future where we walk side by side in peace and harmony. Â Â Â Â Â
