At Colour My World Children's Centre, we envision a reconciled future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' histories, cultures, perspectives and rights are respectfully acknowledged. Where their every element is celebrated and embedded into our daily practices, curriculum, and relationships with children, families and the wider community.  

We are dedicated to develop culturally accepting connections, sharing history, and building trust and respectful relationships between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, children, staff, families and the wider community. Through reconciliation we believe that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families have the same life opportunities as all Australians. We believe that children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful.    

Our aim at Colour My World is to actively promote reconciliation within our service and throughout the broader community. We believe that through education, collaboration and our daily practices, we can cultivate a respectful understanding of Australian History which is taught in an age appropriate manner. Colour My World is a place where every child, regardless of race or cultural background, is honoured, embraced and treated with respect to achieve a future where we walk side by side in peace and harmony.
