VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At St Stephens Preschool our vision is to commit to an ongoing journey of reconciliation that creates lasting change through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our RAP is a living document which encompasses the philosophy, attitudes, beliefs, and actions of our preschool community. It is our organisations responsibility to advocate for reconciliation, and we take a shared approach that educates and inspires growth. Over the last year staff have engaged in professional development to continue to define the process of reconciliation as the unifying process that brings Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader community into a more respectful relationship that restores justice and equity for everyone. This is a journey over time: becoming culturally competent in meaningful ways, putting the ideas of reconciliation into practice, a continuous journey of learning more as a community

We continue to commit to reconciliation through our individual journeys, addressing personal bias, and collaborating together as a team. We will continue to make connections and establish authentic relationships with Dharaug people.
